A summer trip to Harbour Breton
My favorite fishing community in Newfoundland.

How many of you are feeling like taking a mini, virtual vacay right now? Well, you can today - 'cause I'm sharing some of the most beautiful images of the most beautiful place in Newfoundland - Harbour Breton!
Being approximately 6 hours from St. John's; you'll be able to see TONS of amazing scenery during your drive out there. In the winter months, there's a chance you'll even catch a heard of caribou on the highways licking salt off the road!
Just as anywhere in Canada, summer and winter scenery can change a landscape dramatically. In HB, it's just as gorgeous in the winter as it is the summer. Be sure to check out my post during our Christmas in Harbour Breton to see how winter changes the landscape!
This was honestly the summer vacay this girl NEEDED - and we struck amazing weather the whole time we were there (I've got a sunburn to prove it!)
Okay, okay - I know you're itching to view these pics, so here you go!

Enjoying the views of Harbour Breton

I'm so thankful we're able to leave town and go to places like this - peaceful, serene, and full of beautiful scenery. I encourage you to give yourself a break and spend the night away, or take a day trip to a nearby town! 2020 doesn't have to be a totally horrible year; just give yourself some YOU time and visit somewhere new (within your own province, that is!)
Until next time,
